Sculptor. Between 1956 and 1968 he lived in France, where he developed his first notions about sculpture and wood carving, together with the master cabinetmaker Pierre Morel (Pierrefonds, France). From 1970, he began to develop his artistic works, alternating the profession of sculptor with bronze casting and the reproduction of monumental sculptures. He carried out two types of works: on one hand, commissioned sculptures of a commemorative nature; on the other, sculptures of free figurative inspiration cast in bronze.

In 1989 he created and directed the Las Barrancas Art Studio, a lost-wax bronze casting workshop located in Guatire (Miranda State), where he fully dedicated himself to his trade as a sculptor and bronze caster, making hundreds of sculptures neoclassical, ranging from simple reliefs, shields, masks, medallions, busts and pedestrian statues, to important equestrian monuments. Since 1989 he has been an active member of AVAP.

A characteristic feature of his work, according to Óscar D'Empaire, is that "Briceño's works are impeccably manufactured, which is not surprising given his profession as a foundryman, knowledgeable of all the secrets and possibilities that a process can offer. as complex and delicate as that of lost-wax. Regarding his concept, his work has been characterized by the elegant and stylized representation of the human figure, almost always female, which shows a passion that is expressed in his own artistic creation" (1998).
