J.J. Izquierdo was born in Caracas the 6 of May of 1876. He passed away in this same city the 14 of January of 1952. "In 1894 he was student of the Academia de Bellas Artes de Caracas, where he had between he’s professors to Maury and Herrera Toro; this last one left in him a strong influence. In 1898 he obtained Left a diploma in the contest promoted by the National Institute of Beautiful Arts. He was also disciple of Jacinto Inciarte and friend of French painter Balzaretti. The case of Left-who there would be to appear in 1912 between the founders of the Círculo de Bellas Artes is singular, because as small horse painter obtained magnificent expressions sometimes ". He is represented in the Museum of Beautiful Arts, exposed in the First Hall the Circle of Beautiful Arts in 1913.
